The sudden decision has attracted considerable attention, particularly because reports suggest the children had been happy at the school.

Now, some parents are questioning why the potential problems were not identified before Archie and Lilibet ever walked through the gates.

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said the decision followed discussions with the family’s security team.

“The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements,” the spokesperson said.

The couple also made clear that their decision was not connected to the quality of the school or the way their children had been treated.

“The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family,” the statement continued.

“This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”

Instead, the reported problem centered on something millions of parents know all too well: the school run.

For Harry and Meghan, however, ordinary traffic reportedly became considerably more complicated because of the security operation required to transport their family.

Sky News reported that the distance between the Sussexes and the school, combined with heavy congestion around drop-off and pick-up times, created additional pressure for their security team.

The round trip could reportedly take as long as an hour.

But the situation apparently became more concerning when the family’s convoy was disrupted during one of those journeys.

Reports suggested that vehicles traveling as part of the security arrangement became separated in traffic.
